Winter is a reflective candle, combining the sweet woody aroma of Frankincense with Bitter Orange, and the subtle warm, spicy and nutty edge of Nutmeg. It was born from a desire to use Frankincense in a candle for this time of year, given its significance in so many traditions.

The label image is of the River Nevern in January 2022, taken while on a delightful long walk with the dogs, culminating in a drink at the Trewern Arms in Nevern. 

The essential oils in this candle are:

Bitter Orange: fresh and uplifting, extracted from seville oranges, commonly used for marmalade

Frankincense: increases energy and aids meditative activity

Nutmeg: warm, sweet and slightly spicy   

All our candles are made only of sustainable plant waxes and pure essential oils - this means they are all-natural, vegan and are paraffin and palm oil free. They do not contain any artificial colouring. They come in tins because tinplate is infinitely recyclable, whereas many glass containers aren’t recyclable.
